They look great! Nice big area for them. But you do know if your have ganders during breeding season they won't be able to be around the chickens enclosed. Ganders really are a force to reckon with during breeding season. They won't try and breed your chickens like drakes but they are just way to ornery to be closed up with anything other than a goose.

This is just for socialization...which is REALLY important to me. I don't know if you remember the layout of my barn, but I have an exterior 8x12 or so coop to the west (front) that will be what I think is perfect main housing for three geese. It's in front of that stall you see in the video, so I'll cut a door, which will allow the geese to enter the chicken coop in really bad weather (assuming they want to lol). It'll be visually accessible to the chickens, but they won't be able to interact unless I allow it (meaning during mating season and early goslings on the ground stage).

This was before the coop conversion...but you can see what I mean at the beginning and end of the video.


By the way...compared to the other two...Loosie is FEARLESS lol!!
