I have a 3 week old pilgrim gosling with infected ears. It started about 4 or 5 days ago, and now he has crusty patches over both ears. Last night he got separated from his sisters (I think he couldn't hear them peeping and leaving). I found him wandering around by himself this morning. I cleaned the outside of his ears (cleaned off the crusty patches) with hydrogen peroxide and put him back with his family. He's eating and drinking well, and not by any strech of the immagination skinny. He's also active, and seems to feel just fine.

I'm planning on cleaning his ears daily for a while, and watching him closely. I hate to put him on any anti-biotics unless I have to.....

    Any advise?
