Goslings of 2014 Hatch-a-long

I hope so. She already has the basics down and isnt a meanie so i dont think she will be like Maggie and throw a gosling at me lol
I still laugh at the mental image of explaining to the (entire) ER staff that your black eye came from a goose's butt...

(Because you know they'll make you tell everyone.)

Yea lol last year i let her go broody and on her last few days i was keeping a close eye on her through the peek door. The last day i looked in i couldnt see anything so i lowered the door more and stuck my head in, she was in the nest about 12 feet away she got mad stood up, hissed flapped her wings and this dark object came flying at my head. When it hit the wall it thumped and squeaked. She had had one sitting in her wings and didnt know so when she flapped she catapulted him across the goose house. He wasnt hurt though a little confused but not hurt. Thank goodness goslings are fluffy and bounce lol

I am excited, Bonnie laid another egg and she took a lot of time burying those in bedding when I came out to feed. I made it quick so as not to startle her or anger Clyde.

She was sitting when I first came out, and it looked like she was "packing" before leaving the "house" and it was so cute! Yesterday we had four eggs, and I am hoping a fifth comes today.
I am loving the pics! babies! first hatched and fluffed out, they are all cute.

She was trying to teach it to fly....early. Precocious ganger I suppose.
LOL, that is a funny story.

Any minute now my nieces and nephews should be home from school, and we're letting the goslings have their first swim! Going to video-tape it! It's a blistering 85 degrees out right now, so I'm sure they won't mind at all!
