Goslings of 2014 Hatch-a-long

Nice to know your hubby is as besotted as you are...or is he just fed up of slipping on the poop???  They look like Beatrix Potter characters with the nappies (diapers) on!!

I would say a bit of both! He can't stomach poop. Just talking about it makes him wretch! Lol I'm not sure you could get them here. I may have to make him one! :p Moose came running in earlier and sat by the fire because it was raining. He's not normal!

Hey Henny, don´t you think that Miracle looks a bit like Lucy?

Yeah there is a similarity. I'm fairly sure she is a mix breed but her dad could have been the Sebastapol.

Right now yes. I have most of this week off of work. Next week, I work six days, so it will be on the niece to care for them for the most part.

You won't want to go back! I had to distract Moose with half a lettuce yesterday so I could make my escape to work!

Ive an other egg in lockdown today XD lets see how much bigger my babirs grew after just a week compared to the baby thats gonna hatch saterday

How many of you guys make the safety hole in the egg that Pete talks about in his guide? Wondering if I should make a little hole for my internally pipped baby. It talks to me if I talk near the egg :love

I do occasionally. If I'm having a rough time with the hatches (like when we lost power for 16 hours during the ice storm back in February so everyone was hatching late) I will. If not, I let them do it on their own.

But I don't use a drill bit. I use a 22-Gauge injection needle and I make two holes with it instead of one.
