I have 4 dewlap Toulouse and 4 sebbie eggs on the way. Ive incubating pretty much everything out there but geese so Im soaking it all in. I read Petes guide and Im going to make the racks for my incubator. I looked at the gqf racks but all they are is bent pieces of 1/2" square wire screwed down to chicken racks. I can do that myself..

This evening went into turn eggs on the 5 due this week. My Great Dane followed me in to check with me. I opened the incubator and was turning the 3 due on the 12th and my Dane put her nose in there and I said get out of there and the egg was moving. I had thought she did it until both eggs started moving. Guess she was telling me look mom movement! Well candled them and both had internally piped. Went back in later have one external crack.... Now to keep my hands out!!!!

I too have a Great Dane helper though she hasn't graduated to telling me when eggs are hatching yet!

Oh, and I remember reading on that colour guide that this is a difficult colour.....well, I hope you succeed.

Yea it is rare to get this. I have more of a chance to get one from the Toulouse x Tufted roman eggs than i do from the chinese. Atleast something close to that, i have seen a pic on here and i believe it was psue who had a toulouse x embden cross named Halloween that was speckled in that color.
I wish someone would have posted a pic of this guy as a gosling so i would know what to look for.
