And I am starting to wonder about Jasper. His knob isn't as wrinkly and developed as Snow's, and Snow is bigger than Jasper. But he does walk around with his head pointing up, won't stop talking, and is not near as standoffish as Snow. I am so confused, is Jasper and gander or goose?

Well pull the rug out from under me, she finally came out for something to eat and I went in and found #29, I am so confused. I guess tomorrow may tell it.

I hope Jasper is a gander. Maybe since he loves climbing in my lap for snuggle time he wont attack me during breeding season. On the other hand, I can only have 2 ganders. If I end up with 3 ganders I don't know what I am going to do.

have you had ducks that start sitting, then the next day they lay another egg and that´s it, just keep sitting? I´ve had both my ducks and my geese seem to start incubating, then the next day still incubating but another egg, and then business....sitting tight. hopefully it´s just like that.....

This Sunday they will be, 9 week old white Chinese (Jasper and Snow), 4 week old Africans (Peaches and Cream), 3 week old white Chinese (Mabel and Jezebelle)

Ok, that´s what I thought...so 4 chinese, 2 Africans. It´ll be a pretty flock.

I have to admit, I was wondering about that. What made you think they were both boys in the first place?
They can keep us guessing for ages. you´ll know some time before next January!

I think it maybe like you are saying, my goodness when she came out this evening was she old grumpy pants walking around complaining about everything being hateful to the ducks. just not her normal grumpy pants. lol look forward to what tomorrow brings.
