I would assume fertile, but no babies will appear if keep peeking!!! :lau

So my last egg to hatch is moving very slow - it is also the only one that I never saw an internal pip or shadowing or any other kind of movement in when I put them all into lockdown. It has cracked about a 2 inch space in its shell and I can faintly hear it chirping. It only externally pipped sometime last night and I don't plan on opening the incubator tonight but if it hasn't made any progress by morning should I try and assist?

Congrats!
Now that is sweet! I hope my gander is as loving when he has goslings. Even though my oldest gander is only 11 weeks, he is now super protective of the 7 and 5 week old goslings with him. Yesterday a drake bit one of the 5 week olds who was off grazing by himself and boy was my gander furious! I hope it means he will be a great papa when the time comes. Congrats on such a sweet family.

Thanks! I find most geese, male and female, want to adopt and raise goslings, although it may take a few days of getting to know new goslings through a pen before I can trust the adults to have them. Chicory is extra special because he instantly adopts all goslings and I can just walk out and hand babies to him, without worrying how he will be.

Super news!

How satisfying! What about the other two eggs?
Nice to know he´s stopped trying to beat them up! You´ll have your hands full with him, I reckon!

It looks like they did not get into proper hatching position and failed to internally pip.
