Goslings of 2014 Hatch-a-long

So these aren't geese. But I just got some Cayuga ducklings as companions for my injured black crested Ebony. She pulled a leg muscle when a Pekin drake forced her to mate. The drake is gone now and she is locked up to prevent more injury as she was stepped on by a flock ate the day after the original injury. Ebony hasn't quite made up her mind to adopt them, but they are following her around, climbing on her, and trying to snuggle up under her wings.

Congrats 8 on the new donkey baby!!!! Is it a female or male? We have been waiting to see this little one.... :weee      :love

Thanks ruru! Its a little boy. He was born at 10:57pm on Mother's day. I helped deliver him and hes imprinted on me, would rather follow me than his own momma lol

Then I need to change the color ink to this blue!!! Oh that is so sweet he imprinted on you! How special.....

I just love him. Its been so long since we had something foal here. I love my gossies and my chicks but its nice having something, every now and then, that doesnt hatch. He tries to crawl in my lap when im sitting down its like having a big puppy. I know its a big boo boo, ive raised foals before and spoiling them is a no no and can later on be dangerous but i cant help it lol
