Goslings of 2014 Hatch-a-long

Well i ate and baked with all of Stormys eggs that i had collected so far(9 eggs). Ive been counting her eggs to see if she lays like the tufteds(30-40 eggs) or the chinese(60-100 eggs). Now she hasnt laid in 3 days

i hope i didnt goof up with this cross and create something like the shetland that only lays 10-12 eggs. Which i doubt it, but she picked a fine time to take a break. if she lays tomorrow that will push back incubation to Friday.

Still none of my other girls are laying, i have checked every crack and crevice and bush and dog house and havent found anything. I think they are playing "lets see how fast we can push her to insanity" i loved to hunt for eggs as a kid but these are good hiders

Have you ever wondered if this is where the Easter Egg hunt REALLY came from??

I always loved easter egg hunts but if i couldnt find the last few id give up and wait for dad to mow the lawn later that week and splatter the boiled egg everywhere and be like "oh there it is, i walked right over that, eww it stinks!" Haha

Only 7 of my geese are laying and thats not even half so im still waiting for all the others to lay,i must say this year they are taking their time

Well, 4 of my CPG eggs are showing definite development!!! One apparently started but didn't do anything after day 5. Ugh! Oh well, I'll be ecstatic if I can get at least 2 to hatch!
