Hi Henny Penny, congrats on your gozzie.  i´ve been out all day and couldn´t wait to find out how all the goslings on the thread were doing!  I reckoned Brecon simply because it´s difficult to find them, and it would be great to have one.  and she´s quiet, too.     Have to wait and see how she/he dries out.

I see. Well I'm sure whatever the breed it will be cross bred. "She's" all cuddled up for the night so I'm off to bed myself.

Speaking of niacin how do ye give yer goslings niacin

Serv, I do not supplement my goslings. I am a big believer in feeding fresh grass which contains rich amounts of vitamins, including niacin.

I get Brewer´s Yeast which has niacin in it, and I crush the tablets and put it in their water or their food if it´s the gozzies. Miss Lydia and Ruru know the amounts if it´s in powder form.

well i only heard of niacin alot when i came on byc but what foods has niacin in it

Niacin is vitb3. As far as feeding our geese, romaine lettuce has it. Otherwise, it´s in meat, fish, some seeds, avocado pears, mushrooms and some other things.
