Goslings of 2014 Hatch-a-long

On 1/1 I had around 120 birds. I started out in 1/1/13 with 6 ducks and a dozen chickens. Most of the increase was from hatching last year. This year I'm selling pretty much everything I hatch.

I wonder why?!!

So, just to add fuel to the "is it male or female" fire this is "Lucy" this morning. She may be hand shy but she "attacked" a jack Russell and a beagle this morning!

Oh, bother bother bother bother bother bother...right now I´m thinking that serv´s going to gain his 2 points!! I hate it when he wins!!!

Whatever the case, it´s great Moose has a friend. It´s just that stance.....it looks a bit macho....They both look great, by the way. Look how Moose is feathering up. Let´s hope your detached air-cells produce some girlies!

And I do hope I´m wrong about Lucy!!

All was going well yest. Baby was out of the egg but it has gone down hill. Its breathing has become laboured and crackily. Any come across this before and what do I do to help??

As i wrote the above my hubby went upstairs and found her dead. It just was not meant to be.RIP little one
