Ha ha. Moose has a zip fetish. It's a wonder he hasn't broken one yet with the force he uses. I had to tell them off earlier (yeah right. Pushover!!)

Moose was hanging off my zipper while MalcolmMyrtle was chewing on my trousers. I thought they were going to eat me!

Mine do that, too. while I´m trying to fix something or other out there...slong they come, nosey little things and start nibbling. usually it´s the girls that do it. they like to sneak up behind and start nibbling....so funny, I turn around and they seem to be pretending it wasn´t them! They just stand and look at me. Then it all starts again. geese are such fun.

            So funny, I have tears in my eyes for laughing!  You´re quite right, of course!  What a beast this creature must be!  oh, I can hardly type for laughing!  

Lol poor MalcolmMyrtle. Screechy bitiness aside I get a good greeting and snuggles (when I catch him/er). It's a good job she's pretty!

Yeah they're lots of fun. I love my gooses! It's nice to be wanted for something other than food. My chickens can be so entertaining and I can spend hours sat watching them but generally they only stick around when there is something to eat. The geese sit down next to/on you and nibble the grass. Or you. Whatever!

Yup, I usually sit in the grass and the chickens will come right next to me in their hunt for food. But the geese actually seek my attention, and I love that.

Do your geese stay up later than the chickens? My 2 were out at dusk. The chickens started going to bed hours ago! Speaking of which, I need to go and do a head count. I think I'm missing 2 hens! It worries me how many eggs they're sitting on between them!

Yes the geese always stay up later than the chickens here. I have to call the geese in while most of the chickens have already headed to bed. A few chickens try to stay with the geese, but will give up and go home. Lol

Ooh sweeet! Their heads are so fine. Moose has a great big wedge on top of his neck! I pushed her off and candled them all. 3 had what looked like obvious growth so i left them and took the rest. I'll be moving her tomorrow. The nest is filthy, full of cracked eggs! I don't have anywhere to put her tonight. Will have to clear out the broody coop!
