Goslings of 2014 Hatch-a-long

Thats awesome! You can house quite a few in that!!

We did that same thing when i was raising rabbits when i was a teenager. I went from 3 pairs of drawf bunnies to 26 bunnies in no time. My mom built lots of nice large cages for them within a week lol i was lucky having parents that loved animals as much as me and were supportive of letting me try different things.

How many would you say I could comfortably house in either the 11ft X 6ft coop or the 14ft X 8ft coop? I can't make up my mind who gets which coop. I just know that the chickens will get 1 and the geese and ducks will get the other.

I tried raising rabbits when i was younger. I turned them all into pets and wouldn't let my parents eat them. Now that I could eat them, my kids are doing to me what I did to my parents. lol viscous circle

Hey 8, I posted some pics of my African goslings on page 223. I think 1 is a gander and I had purchased 2 females. can you take a look? do you think I have an African gander?

I see one gander as well. Going by the head and the bill where the knob will be. Im not as good as some of the other members though but one does look more masculine than the other

Check out these pics of the Africans. Am I crazy or is 1 a gander? Sorry for the spam of pics, but I really need to know if Cream is a gander. If he is I need to call the feed store so they can make good and get me another African female gosling. I believe I would get to keep Cream anyway due to bio security, right? The feed store actually says that the hatchery is the one that will send another goslings and I can't imagine a hatchery wanting the gosling back, especially a male. This is Cream, my suspected gander
First pic the one with its head up

Ganders tend to be "cheeky" fat cheeks, and it has a larger knob area. Like i said im not as good as everyone else. Ive been guessing on one of my toulouse for two years now lol

The African gosling with the longer, thinner neck is the one displaying gander behaviors. The gosling you pointed out is shy and hides behind the other one.

What about in this pic? Both their heads are dry here

The wet 1 is the 1 I think is a gander
