Any tips and suggestions you can give me for fermenting feed for a large mixed flock? What feed do you use for fermenting?

Do you sprout fodder for your geese? I am also trying that as Texas heat is slowing the growth of my grass. I hope sprouting oat and wheat fodder will help keep the geese happy during the summer months when everything wilts. Any ideas for that?

I use Flock Raiser add whole oats and 7 way scratch grains to the mix then when I put it into the bucket that I ferment it in I add split peas, flax seeds, kelp meal, oregano and garlic. I use 1 gal food grade buckets that I get at the grocery bakery. I make up 2- 1 gal buckets at a time. my flock of 34 eats a 1 gal bucket a day.

What does the kelp meal, oregano and garlic do for them? I have fresh oregano in my herb garden and can easily add some garlic.

I love all my babies and when i sell them, i make sure they go to good animal lovers that will take care of them and make sure they have the best life as if i still had them. The two people who bought from me have been sending me pics and updates on them

Congrats! You and your mom must be so thrilled! Did your mom watch that hatch? How is your mom doing? All these hatches, goslings and donk, and your upcoming hatch must have her in good spirits.. Please post some pics when you can, I'd love to see you baby donk. Congrats again!
