Nor even birds!
Four months ago, I caught my box turtles mating. Today... I got eggs!!
This time frame is normal for box turtles, who mate when they first leave "brumation" (an involuntary form of hibernation), but don't lay eggs until summer. Of course the incubation is totally different from polutry too. Only 80 degrees, at least 70% humidity (80% is best) for 60-90 days.
And you all thought waiting for geese to hatch was nerve-wracking!
