This is my African gander and he is 7 weeks old, but hatcherys that sell African's and Chinese are never pure bred! Always mix of both and that's why they are different in sizebut they do sell pure breeds but it's rare only well managed places like metzers etc. Would have pure breeds i also ordered africans from a hatchery before and i can tell you they were no way near African! i was stupit to think that since African's are rare here![]()

I love the color on the buff Africans! So pretty. Where do you get those? I haven't found any at hatcheries. Are they rare like the white Africans?
So my "Africans" are really African X Chinese geese?
I got them at a show from a women who breeds exotic breeds and they were for sale so i took the chance![]()
Starfire we don't know yet if they are we will have to wait a month or so to be sure but the African you showed me swimming looks pure at that angle
