Goslings of 2014 Hatch-a-long

So you´re 5 months into incubation.  Goodness, so she could even be a 2015 baby!  That´d be the first 2015 hatch!  ;)   Wow, you´ll have your hands full the beginning of next year!  I imagine you´ll just let your geese get on with it!  :p

Yes she could wait until 2015 lol i hope not! As long as shes ok she can out when ever she decides. I will for sure be busy with her, being a first time mom and all.
As for the geese i plan to make time for them and still continue with mix matching their breedings.

Haha, if mine are anything to go by, you can be sure that they´ll choose exactly the one you´d rather not!!!!!!!
I bought 2 auto-sexing females to breed with my auto-sexing young ganders from last year.  The ganders don´t want to know.  They´re chasing around after my pied cross-breeds that I don´t want to breed from until next year!  Typical!  The older gander is obliging the two new geese at the moment, which means he now has 4 geese busy while the others are playing silly whatsits....  :th :p

I guess I will deal with it if and when it happens. I planned on buying some white African eggs from Utah, and some pied and brown Chinese eggs from 8 next spring.

With 7 ladies to choose from he can't bond with them all. Won't he pick his favorite female as his bonded mate?
Yes, his favourite one will be his bonded mate, but....it´ll be an African!

You just know it! And then he´ll be quite happy to have the other six on the side!

Wouldn't that be something 2015 hatch, I have a feeling 8 would rather not wait.

I hope not, too, for your sake. I have a friend who´s just had her first baby, and is so happy she can see her feet again! ;)

Sounds like both you and 8 are going to be pretty busy!!!

This isn't a goose post, but I figured I would share 1 of the reasons I haven't been on here much. Since the topic is my son, i figured he could count as my gosling, lol.
We have started doing obedience and agility training with 5 of our dogs. But 1 dog, Rascal, don't play well with strange dogs (this makes me kinda sad as this is my 13 year olds dog), Dawn is being evaluated for temperment (she is actually our best agility dog, but need to see how she will react around so many dogs and people), Phantom is a puppy and so has good days and horrible days (once he matures we feel he will be an excellent agility dog), Cheyenne is only there for obedience and socialization (she is a rescue and is terrified of people and dogs), finally there is Sasha my 12 year old sons dog. my youngest son and Sasha are doing so well that I was asked if they could be part of the demo team! I am so very proud of both of them! So here are a couple pics I took last night of my son and his girl on the large dog walk.
