I think that with most people's geese, it will be much easier than it has been for us. The advice I got from @Miss Lydia was to take it very slow and that is what i have done. they are now in the outside run (pred proofed covered green house on dirt ) together for a few hours everyday and seem to be doing really good! Today Mandie decided to follow Forest instead of my son around the yard and Forest got a little freaked out =) it was funny! She ran which made Mandie run after her! Forest didnt get hysterical and fall down the way she does when she runs from the ducks though. (@livininbrazil , @Miss Lydia ) ------> Forest even walked up to Ollie twice and stood by him!!I am so glad to read that the vet found nothing else wrong when she was a baby but you are right to continue to keep up to date on any changes that may have occurred as she matured. Your success to date with introducing Mandie is inspiring and gives me hope that, in the spring, when I get a little male gosling for Pauline to raise and have as her companion, it may not be the overwhelming challenge that I have worked up in my mind. Mandie is Forest's baby now and you best not mess with her you little duckie.
This was an awesome hatch a long. I am so glad to have been a part of it!In 2 hours will be the end of this awesome hatchalong![]()
