Goslings of 2015 Hatch-a-Long

Wanted to post pictures of the elite-8 now that they are 4 weeks and 3 days old. From little puffs of fluff that could just barely wobble to this...
Jtn how feathered are they now? Mine are four weeks and only have feathers on the tops of their shoulders/wings

I should have goslings between now and Thursday. Today is 28 days. The goose i slipped the eggs under was acting very suspicious yesterday evening. I will probably go take a peek at her soon.
Im expecting 2-3, out of 4 eggs. 4th egg was iffy but was dark as the others, If i get 4 i will be very happy.

Amazing how you can go from 3 to 11 in just 28-30 days almost instant flock lol

It looked like the eggs were about to internally pip, you could see them push up against the air cell!! So I went ahead and made super super tiny safe holes. Just to be safe. I lost about 30 call duck eggs after they internally pipped... Not doing that again.

Aww that is sad 30? i understand they are extremely hard to hatch because of their short round bills.

I hope your gosling make it out, I wouldn't do any more now but wait.

Yes I plan on just sitting here now! I don't want to, but I will!

Yes it was horrible. I opened them all up after the hatch and every single one had their beak inside the air cell but just couldn't pip. The other 25ish just never pipped.
