Goslings of 2015 Hatch-a-Long

I am pretty sure that there are 3 ganders plus Sting (the father) so that would be 4 ganders and 7 females which will be just fine. I think I can manage that without getting eaten alive. The ones I am pretty sure are female are already beginning to develop lobes on their belly which I am taking as a sign. They play together all the time but they are at that age where some of them will wander off away from the others. Sting will give a honk and everyone comes running together so they are a gaggle for sure. Now and then they will all take off running across the field with their wings out. Wish I could get them to do that on cue so I could get a picture but they are not the most cooperative bunch.
Oh those teenage times. LOL that would be awesome to have 7/4 ratio.

Hey Everyone, I have 8 dewlap eggs in my incubator and they are at day 16. Looking good with good veins and lots of movement.

My question is will my adults accept them into their gaggle? I have 2 males and 3 females. They are the Mommas and the Poppas. They also are just 3 years old. If they will accept them at what age do I introduce them. I would like them to raise the little guys/gals if they hatch. Crossed fingers, these are the first ones we have had any luck with.

Thanks Hope

Most will be happy to take them and raise them. I waited 3 weeks before handing mine over to the 2 adults maybe over protective but i was worried about someone getting trampled I just took them out everyday so the adults could be with them with me for supervision then at the 3 week mark they spent their first day and night with them they have been one family since.

Well today school holidays have started and I am now able to spend a lot more time with my geese @MissLydia I think I have gotten the sex of my geese they are starting to get a bit aggressive and bossy. So what I thinks is the 2 sebastopols are males and the other three are females. Mr Hiss the head gander is getting a bit protective of his mate and Radar the second gander is hissing up a storm will keep updated when get signs of eggs.
