Got a double yoker from a ...RIR?

It was perfect. lol

I've been getting isty eggs, from the new girls, so this was a nice surprise. It looked like two eggs seamed together in the middle, oblong like a bullet. I think it's my RIR, as she hasn't laid in two days. Isn't that odd for them, or just a normal hiccup?
 
Normal with a new layer. As they get older, the double yolkers go away. My pullets are 9 months old and I haven't had a double yolker in a long time.
 
Thanks, I just assumed smaller breeds didn't lay them.

It could be the pork, rice, and beef suet I've been giving them on cold mornings! Not too much, but I made a huge batch from a frezzer burned roast and I've been the favorite lately.
