Got a hen laying around a lot past two days.

She said she could sent me home with meds, but her survival rate was less than 10% she was already stressed. Poor chicken. She was the main hen first of pecking order.

@Wyorp Rock thank you . I didn't have them look into it any further. She was saying some scary prices to me. I wish I knew because I feel like that hen I got well from flystrike last year had the same symptoms if I have one that comes down with same symptoms I'll have them sent off for sure.

It sounds like she was on her way out, poor thing

Vets can be expensive, so if you lose another, contact your state lab directly and see about getting testing/diagnosis. Sometimes this is a lot more affordable.
