Cuties @KsKingBee!
So is Charcoal White the correct way to describe this baby? I understand what you are describing but haven't seen it written this way before. I put it as White (Charcoal) on the Chick Chart but will change it if needed.

*ps how is Miss Z these days???

I don't know how the 'official' nomenclature would be written, I will ask @ArgeredIn when I see him next week. It could be just 'White from or carrying Charcoal', I don't really know for sure. Zom is getting around fine, she perches on a very low to the ground 2x4 at night but cannot see clearly enough to fly up to perch. She is a mommy this year, perhaps next year she will have a clutch of her own to raise. She would still love to come live with you when you can have peas again. (I would love to give her to you!)

Since you ask, @casportpony ...
Really, @KsKingBee is best equipped to tell the Tale of Miss Zombee.

However, I think you might have heard of her before because she has eye problems - she had to have her bad eye "milked" like one of your peas???

Here she is in her younger days:

Somehow I always fall for the peas who are special! :love

Zombee is a 2015 hatch Cameo hen that was brooded under a chicken hen. She left the nest without her chicken mom and got attacked by other hens in the coop. Those mean hens tried to eat her brains, she lost the skin on the top of her head and her eyelids were damaged as well. I tried to have our vet fix the eyelids but she couldn't do it so now Zombee has blurry vision and can not see to fly up to a roost. If I put her up on a four-foot roost at night I will have to put her down in the morning. She is a sweet hen and lets me pick her up and pet her. She is now a three year old hen.
