Got Eggs? Want to be part of an Experiment?

I can't get into Sam's (they suck! haha, well I suck for not having the card) and where in Walmart do they have bubble wrap???!!! I'll go in there (it seems when I personally want something, they're sold out); in that case, I can probably ship out eggs for $20 tops

Do YOU want eggs? You live in Kansas, I'm sure I can drive to you with eggs - you can just meet up with me somewhere. You should just take all the eggs for me

I'll have 3 incubators running on my experiment, so yup

Look in the Office Supply area .. I found bubble wrap with the envelopes and big cushioned mailers...

Once I have my Paypal started I would love to get some testers.. Now will these be marked so we can update you on how each one does???

We don't have an Office Supply!!! LOL I think, a 60 miles radius from us with no OS!! LOL
The next time I drive down to Wichita, I'll check LOL Or a larger city - I'll have to load up on office supplies!!!
My town has a Dollar General and an Alco LOL oh and an A&W <3 Yum!

Yes, Ma'am.
They will mainly have the date they were laid - if they were in the fridge and/or if they were dipped in chlorox bleach and/or what not.
There is a man up here who has about 16 dozen eggs a week and he said he'll give 'em to me for free if he can find people to test them for him/me LOL
They're Purebred RIR and RIR/RIR bantam crosses.
No one around me has an incubator except me! And maybe the school. I've been trying to donate eggs to school - lol, I once had to incubate my own eggs and give them to the teacher since her eggs never hatch out in her own incubator LOL

No honey in the "Office Supply" section at your local Walmart...

I would love to be part of this experiment! I have wondered about some of those variables as well, and I home school so I can get the kids into this too! I'll PM you.

Oh...... "Office Supply" section. I'll be making my way up there this week and I'll check. Maybe I've just been walking back and forth past it and just don't see it. LOL! I'll be heading into town this week and see!

Hahaha, yeah don't worry about it! I really really really really really need a car with good gas mileage! I don't mind driving around, I just hope gas prices don't rise anymore!!
I drive on average 30-60 miles to the Post Office (they send their eggs straight to their destination - I don't want them to have to sit at my PO and then have to go another 30-60 miles to the main PO and then shipped out). I think if they built a Walmart in our town, the entire building would SIT on top of the town LOL

little_gray_bantam, I see this is an old thread so don't know if you are still experimenting but if you are....I might be willing to make the drive and pick up some eggs for you. I don't have an incubator yet but put an ad on Freecycle for some materials to make one and have some things to pick up this week (cooler, PC fan etc) so....then I need to make the 'bator and turn it on for a few days to stabilize temps so I wouldn't be ready for a few days but at some point in the near future. What breeds do you have?

It's just whatever is left over, sometimes I may have BCMs (rarely though), sometimes Speckled Sussexes (pure), Welsummers/SS, an assortment of Bantams (mixed) and Cuckoo Marans (pures and mixes) and then I have a few people around here (farmers) who want their eggs hatched (they're mainly buffs, rir, some buckeye, nhr, leghorns, rocks, etc. etc.)! Let me know, maybe we can meet you half way or something so you won't have to drive too far (we don't leave very often LOL but do go to Salina once a month).

I'll always have eggs left over that I won't hatch out myself (due to lack of space) or know someone who has eggs that want hatched but I'd be more than happy to save 'em up for you! Let me know when ya want them!

BTW, there is a VERY nice man down there who let me fuss around with hatching his eggs (on fertility) down there in Wichita. He tried to PAWN off 24 dozen eggs on me! (at the time I only had an incubator that held 48 eggs) LOL I'll look for his number! He has BEAUTIFUL olive eggers, but I just hatched them out for him and gave him his chicks back LOL! I sure as heck don't need 24 dozen CHICKS!

Would you be open to sending out test batches in March? My incubator is booked 'till then.
