I agree! I think that most of the time I put too much thought into the whole process!!! I will have perfect conditions and not hatch anything! But I just read a thread earlier about a guy who hatched store bought eggs!!! Crazy!!! I am so excited for Perfectly Polish! This is so awesome!!!!

Store bought eggs?????? GET OUT!!!!

Confession!

My last shipment of eggs included 14 fertile eggs.
One egg looked to be a few days developed when I put it in the incubator. It was quite active when I got it. Unfortunately, it made it another week/well-defined chicky, and that was it.

That would have been something!

So, I hope your babe makes it outta there Perfectly_polish!

Yeah! Seriously here is the thread. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=55771 And you would have to search for this one but I read one about a month ago, The guy told about how he washed the eggs, in the SNOW!! And even put some in the fridge and then decided to incubate them and yep you guessed it, they hatched!!!!!

I found the thread! https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=47241

I woke up this morning to hear peeping in the incubator and a little dry fluffy chick walking around!

I still can't believe it made it all this way. It's a cochin and looks like a little blue one. Pictures of the little miracle baby are on the way!!
