You're progress is about like mine - finally got the roof covering on but still have the balance of trim and a couple items to complete before paint.

Yeah, overkill. Built like a brick chickhouse <grin>.

The queen bee hates working with me. She says good enough, is often good enough. She's right, but my man card won't allow good enough.

Starting to close it in. I built the lids to the nest boxes, but still have to hinge them. I am using a "pewter" color stain. I like it because it really blends into the yard.

Great job!!!! Being in construction & woodworking all my life, I always appreciate a job done right. You build like me, for your great grandkids. I always say it doesn't take any longer to do it right the first time. The better half has been posting pics, but I've been so busy working on ours that I have't been in to look at them. I was reminded of that tonite.
