Got my first egg!!!

Also named them all. Valerie (white) Gorgina (grey) Martha (speck) Geraldine (red neck)

The shell is a little soft so what can i do to make them more hard?

Congrats! Thats an fine egg.

To make them hard, increse calcium its easy to crush up used egg shells and then give them back to your hens. Or you can buy oyster shells at the feed store.

congrats on your first egg, i feed my chickens chard an spinach an other greens high in calcium. They help me clean up the garden.

Congratulations! That is a beautiful egg! I also feed back the eggshells to my chickens along with oyster shell. I still get one once in a while with a thin shell. Good luck, and here's to many more eggs for all of us!
