Got my Great Pyrenees today!

Rarely do I see GP pups available and today I saw 3 available. I am in no position to take another dog on--I have 7 but I still sat there staring at the pictures, thinking how can I make this work?

I can definitely see that urge. I was not a big dog person before, but these are just great animals!

Well, the dogs and the chickens seem pretty well integrated with each other now. Our doorstep will probably never be clean again

How does your dog handle the fireworks? Mine are coming out of the field and cowering where they act asleep but clearly are not. The following say the dogs are exhausted even though they did little to protect.

I am getting a new pup in the next few days.

I don’t know yet. None of our nearby neighbors have set any off yet, nor have we.

You can. Sport dogs are used to keep geese off flower garden here. Depends on the dog though. Something like a shepherd or husky i would never lol

Yes, we have raccoons in the area. But the dogs are vigilant and keep them off the property quite well.
