Yes and no. Those peas are in an aviary that has stall mats for a floor (no dirt), and the little rooster was raised with them, and none have ever been on dirt, so no risk of them getting blackhead. And since they were raised together they all get along.

I would say a little more time to be sure to be sure on the "male". The hen is a no brainer.
