I found another egg! This one was in the goat part of the barn...hmm. Under the milk stand...there’s hay underneath. Lou layer under there for a bit today! Lol. Wouldn’t that be a riot.?,! So, this is 9 eggs five days...Definitely more than one ducks doing the laying!!
 
Today we have two more eggs where the pekins hang out and two more the Muscovies nest...so, definitely more than one hen laying in each nest. What’s funny, is my one drake...goofball, Stevie the Pekin..guards watch over the nest and sets on it a ton! We’re still letting them go for now...we’re having a ton of fun watching them build these nests and we’re not worried about eating eggs...
 
Well, after clearly seeing that my eggs are not slowing down from the ducks...another four today...and I really think it’s the same four girls...I’ve decided to take the eggs away. I’m sure Sami and Pearl..my Muscovies will be upset..since they were stalking me as I did it...but, there’s going to be better weather down the road. What’s really funny though...I’m consistently getting four eggs a day now...but they are in the same two spots...so is it like chickens where they take turns? I didn’t think so...and how would those girls decide who got to set? Lol..guess we’ll see in the future! We have a lot of eggs to eat! :)
