Got some new chickens from craigslist -is this frostbite on their comb or something else?

I just got a Maran and a Silkie from someone on Craigslist and when I got home and was looking at the comb on the Maran I noticed some black. Is this from frostbite or is it something else? I have them quarantining away from my other chickens but would love some advice if anyone has any ideas. Thank you so much! This is my first back yard flock.

Looks like it to me. It will fall off on its own

Whatever it is make sure they are quarantined away from any other poultry you have until 2 weeks to a month after they are completely healed.

Looks like frostbite to me. If you notice the edge of the wattles also look like that.

Got some closer pictures -both are laying eggs and seem ok? They are very skittish. Unlike my other chickens I think maybe their previous owner didn’t handle them much?
