Well I technically grew up on Lake Erie - about 40 miles east of Cleveland but Western PA was my second home. I have to say - I've been all over this country and NOTHING holds a candle to the memory of driving up to Hastings in the fall to see my friend's family. I think I was like 12. The rolling hills and beautiful fall colors on that drive were breathtaking.
We are going to Ligoner to see my aunt this summer and I can't wait - I haven't been back to PA since I was 16!!
(Plus my daugther wants to go to the Andy Warhol museum in Pittsburgh.)
