Gourd/Squash/Pumpkin Seed Swap

Mom's property has about 3/4 running down a hillside (not super steep) and that is all "the lower garden" area where the chicken coop is located, in the center of that space at 30x70 is our fenced veggie garden. But, I have a fence on the side by the neighboring townhouses that over water their lawns. I think I will fence about 6-8' from that and about 30' and call it the pumpkin patch. The neighbors can water and feed my pumpkins and once the plants get big, I don't think we will need to worry about the chickens too much and can open the gates and let the hens enjoy the weeds/bugs.

On the fence line to that area I plan on added some citrus trees and a few companion plants. I think they will be okay with a few pumpkins .

OK, thought I would run this by everyone first - I have seeds from a red curry sqaush. I made an amazing pumpkin pie from it and the kids just raved and raved. It was delish! Problem: this is the seed that got a little moldy. I'm still going to try to grow them from this seed and wanted to toss it out there that if they are still viable, would anyone else want them, too? I'll rub them down to get the musty off them, but wont send them if nobody wants to try - what can it hurt?

I'll only send enough for those interested so please let me know - It's worth a shot, I think. Otherwise, I am only able to send 3 types

Is OK if I tape the seeds to cardstock? I'll put the cards in the padded envelope and add more bubble wrap, but I'm out oftime and have ne little envelopes to put them in

Ug -sorry to be a bother, I'm still running around with my head cut off, having meltdowns with my autistic son, dog due any day now, three other children out of school driving me up a wall - andthat's just hours from home after work till bed!!!

I'm game! I'll try the red curry squach mold and all

Taping to cardstock is fine. I'm taping mine to paper. People can take them off and store them how they wish once they get them.

I'm game to try, I'll be sure and put those in the freezer or refrigerator (research it first) to retard any further mold issues.

I wish I had thought of taping them to cards, would have saved me some space!!!! You will understand when you get my seeds.

I'll try them!

I am game too on the Curry squash.

I figure mine are all in paper, but since they are home dried who knows what will happen after I packaged them.
