Government subsidizing road side farmer markets..

Has anyone figured out a way to keep them from throwing clean clothes in with the dirty? Only way I can figure is to have a clothing room and check out a set to them every morning. Or you could just buy each kid a set of clothing. 7 blue shirts and 7 blue pants with underwear and socks. Maybe they would all turn in to Einsteins.

well, ive been taking the stuff they toss in there and throwing it right back in their room to deal with. they are starting to take notice, thank god.

The Farmers Market Promotion Program (FMPP) was created through a recent amendment of the Farmer-to-Consumer Direct Marketing Act of 1976.

Sorry to disappoint but this has NOTHING to do w/Obama. Let's let him be in office for at least a year before giving him credit or blaming him for things.........

Interesting that some of you didn't realize welfare/school programs are under the Ag budget. Don't let facts get in your way.

IhaveWHATinmyyard? has just asked to come too! I 'll be making her a virtual root beer float!

Forget the tea party, we seem to have enough folks to qualify for a grant and sell tea from a roadside farmer's market.

Ditto! As a mother, citizen, organic farmer and market vendor, I would LOVE to for once see some support for a food system that actually makes sense. Yay!!!

Went to a canning class put on by the local extension office. The teacher said all sorts of "old fashioned" ideas were coming back into fashion! Yipee!

I am ready for a serious talk about what IS and what isn't true (true as in factual, not ideologically slanted to meet anyone's - including my own -preconceived ideas.)

Our government is a representative republic. We get the government we are willing to tolerate. For several decades Americans have asked for very little of their government except that it leave them in comfortable ignorance and not ask them to think over much.

Well, it is time for us to change that. There is no way any of us can know everything that the government is up to, so let's divide up the task. Why don't we each choose the topic of our passion and research it? Thoroughly! Both sides, the history, the why and wheretofor should all be covered. Then we can present it on our tea party forum while supping on virtual treats which won't fatten our hips!

What do you think?

I am hoping for my community college to start a class on canning. Our agriculture does not do that kind of stuff. I want to learn to can rather than reading from a book LOL!
