I agree, that hatcher box is slick. Paper towels under the rubber mats sound like good advice. I'm not ready to try the egg cartons this time, I may try it on a part of them next time for a test.

I will let everyone know how it goes. It's crock pot meals for my family this weekend--my nose will be on the glass!

On the bottom of my 1202 i have outdoor carpet havent had a problem in 3 years with it i have 2 pieces of carpet when one bunch hatches and i clean out the bottom i was one carpet and put the other one in so i always have a fresh clean carpet

Ok, second hatch was locked down last night. I noticed 3 pips started(not broke through) and heard some peeping when I took them off the turner.

I know I set them on Mothers Day! I am now worried about the humidity change as I took them off the turner and put them in the hatcher. Particularly the ones that had piped and no telling how many more. I was moving fast after the discovery. This morning I seen no change. Hope I didn't shrink wrap them, but I'm afraid to really do anything until later today since they were early anyway.
I have watched the incubator temp and it did stay at 100 most of the time during last weekends hatch. Since then it blinks on 99.5 to 100. Which is where it was before the first hatch. Guessing those elevated 2 days have made some hatch early. Should I be adjusting the temp down during a hatch, if I have more eggs set? Anyone else experience this? The first hatch delivered on day 20-21.
