I've always wanted a proper koi pond. Some day maybe. Raccoons are bad here.
 
My sister laughed at me when I said I wanted a pond. Challenge accepted. I have built so many. the only thing that has stopped me now is my back.

The biggest one I made was 12x16ft and step downs inside from one-3ft. my koi got about 18in. long and around 5-8 lbs. It was a formal pond edged in brick. Then I made a natural pond on the other side of the yard and a stream bed from one to another with a bridge to cross .
