Hello to the few of you that are left. I was gone all day... ended up going down to San Francisco with the boys to see hubs off on his trip. I got rear ended on the way home tonight. Not really bad, but still a pain in the rear.

Same for Wishing I think. 6 hrs.

More like 8-9 hrs for me depending on the time of day.

Darn it. I was hoping you or wishing were gonna be close.

Me too. Things are rarely actually in Los Angeles proper. Find out where it is exactly and find a hotel close by. Avoid the freeways down there as much as possible. They are more like parking lots than roadways.

The cat just threw my metal cook book holder off the counter and onto the floor. Made quite a racket!

Cap, sorry you lost another chicken. Does sound like Mareks. The Denagard won't do a thing for Mareks. There really isn't any treatment as far as I know, but think it depends on the strain. Some are worse than others.

Camping, the afghan will be beautiful no matter what colors you add. Glad your mom is recovering well.

Prostar, cool MachI. Friend in high school... her brother had one that just sat out in front of their house for years and years... He went back east where they were from and got a job.

I do have a headache, but have had one for over a week on and off. I think I pinched a nerve carrying firewood or something. Got to eat and take some advil.

Yeah, i was crying and husband says "Chickens die" . How comforting.
I give the chickens vitamins and a bit of St. Johns Wort. Plus the nutritious left over slop i make. Today it was chicken meat and broth, pumpkin and egg. They eat every bit.
