Granny's gone and done it again

I don't think ducks get it either. But we live on a fast flowing river, they would likely get swept away.
hahaa, you could rope off a little duck swimming area with those floaty ropey thingys.

I was wanting beef barley soup but we don't have any, hubby hates it and he buys most of the groceries.
That is my favorite too. I had several cans, because they were on sale... kid ate them all. :(

Hello to the few of you that are left. I was gone all day... ended up going down to San Francisco with the boys to see hubs off on his trip. I got rear ended on the way home tonight. :hmm Not really bad, but still a pain in the rear.

More like 8-9 hrs for me depending on the time of day.

:hmm Me too. Things are rarely actually in Los Angeles proper. Find out where it is exactly and find a hotel close by. Avoid the freeways down there as much as possible. They are more like parking lots than roadways.
Oh no. That’s terrible. Did it happen on the freeway?

I had just gotten off the freeway!! Waiting at a red light at the end of the off ramp. Whammo! The guy was very apologetic. Said he just spaced out. I didn't smell anything on him that made me think he had help being spacey. He's paying for the repair.

So i think Easter is really early this year. With spring coming on i bred 2 rabbits so far. One Mini Rex and one Holland Lop.
It falls on April 1st! I looked it up in December when I started getting the incubation itch again. I even planned the days to set the eggs. March 10-11.

I hope the rabbits take and are good moms!

I hope you’re ok!
We still don’t know all the details. The bed and breakfast was mentioned again but not the name. Thanks for the info I’ll pass it on.
I was feeling a bit better until i found the dead chicken. Then i couldn't stop crying. I have been trying not to get attached to the chickens but when you are sick its worse. I think i have 3 SS chickens left, all pullets.
:hugs you make have to start over chicken wise if this keeps up. Do you still have all you polish?

I lost the best cockerel, but the rest seem ok.
The other annoying part is i couldn't use this coop for new chickens since the dander gets into cracks, soil etc. It was not cheap to build this coop.

That’s frustrating. Could you switch critters into it? I know you mentioned quail and turkeys. If you took the divider out could turkeys live in it?

Hello car payneb
The SS get more white specks yearly for the first few years if they live that long.
I dunno. Nugget lost a bunch of her white last moult. It’ll be interesting to see what this moult brings. (Poor girl she’s moulting BAAAD right now....she is not happy!)
