Granny's gone and done it again

Gotta head out & finish snowblowing. By the time I got coops cleaned & runs shoveled I was freezing. We are 11°, but feels like -6° Plus 17 mph winds right out of the north.
Oh Lisa! Take care. We have hazy sunshine and yesterday it hit 70. You should come visit!

The problem is that the majority of them get 24/7/365 100% parental back up no MATTER what they have done or what the teachers have to say! I almost sure that even Sadam husein had a mother that had thought that he is the center of the universe and that the sun shines from his b... hole!
Yes, we have that here too, parents who never say NO. We also have neglectful situations, parents who are absent or too busy to even know what their kids are doing. The cell phones are really changing the culture. I think it the biggest culture gap between generations we will ever experience. What kind of adults will these phone kids be? How will they raise their kids?

You are very good it. My proportions are always off.
I have been drawing things for as long as i can remember. I plan to do some water colors as well. I always enjoyed art classes and took art history at the community college. I taught a kids class in ceramics, that was always fun for all!

Gardening should be a relaxing hobby for you, not make you cry! :hugs It's kind of like how folks here want to hatch ALL the eggs... but you don't have to plant all the seeds. In the interest of space and time, I would use my newest seeds.

I’ve put out feelers to borrow a tiller, so I’m pushing to expand. I’m thinking tomatoes, basil, and marigolds in containers along the pool fence where they can get more sun. Then a couple of wigwam-styled trellises for climbing things. And I need flowers to attract the pollinators, but I can probably open sow them nearby as long as I keep the mowers out.

A lot of people are growing plants in those 5 gallon buckets. Just drill holes in the sides about 1" from the bottom so they don't get too soggy.

I agree with you completely, I think that a lot of them are to selfish to have kids ......

X2, I know Jane might say different, but unless they were stored properly they probably aren't the best quality. No sense of shooting yourself in the foot before you even get out the front door lol.
