I didn’t think we’d have one big enough to take down a duck, but they’re just disappearing without a trace. I don’t know that a hawk could make off with a full-grown duck. Maybe coyote or bobcat?

Sorry about DD. I’m pretty grumpy in general, too. DH has had his hands full the last few days.

His plane got in early! He takes the airport bus up here, and I pick him up when he gets to town. Over a 3 hr round trip if I go pick him up.

He had to go to China for work, and since he was in that part of the world, decided to go see what Nepal is like. Over the last several years he's tacked on a few mini trips onto works trips... seen southern China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore, Japan, and now Nepal. Good to see these places, but said he wasn't all that impressed, especially where is is hot and humid -hates that. Going to see more of the US now instead, yay! because then I will go too! 14 hrs on a plane to get to Asia is just 14 hrs of torture for me.

oh and the long flat roofed one is LF . Thats the one I built .

There's only one black duck left on the pond. But the guy I bought my keets from has cayuga longs for $5, so maybe I can get a few more when I get my chicks.

Well, if they hadn't ran off on you... I like ducks, but sometimes I don't think they're all that smart.
