Not a lot of hatching here. People are always looking for silkies. Tsc had chick days longer here too.

Then definitely take advantage of it if you can. The people that are wanting Silkies you need to tell them they are straight run only because it takes so many months to tell what sex they are.

Why would you let them run loose to kill someone’s livestock.
If they kill chickens, then I would shoot them.

We had a pack of dogs running in our neighborhood for about a year. Killed a whole tractor of POL pullets while i was on vacation. Killed or scattered all my quail. I found out finally whose they were. Told the lady they were killing my livestock and she needed to build a fence or tie them up. She said the pit bull wasn't hers, she had just been feeding it for a year!? But she had no use for the husky and the Shepherd so just go ahead and shoot them!

Had someone offer to buy all 3 EEs and my SFH. I’m thinking hard about it. It would open up a lot of space in my coops but also at the same time I don’t want rid of them. Ugh.

Yeah, but i did end up shooting those dogs. They just kept coming back. I was worried they would attack the goats or pigs next!
We tried calling animal control but they would not go out in the country.

I have no idea what day my little Serama egg is on. I would say it should hatch in the next few days if I was to guess. Didn't want any chicks right now & now it will be a lone chick.
