Granny's gone and done it again

Ditto I was 28 and mother was 52, occasionally it's difficult to sympthanize when 40+ year olds talk about loosing their 65+ year old mother's.
It's not a competition. Death is one thing we all have in common and loss is painful no matter the situation. In that sense it should actually bring us closer.
So I do understand where you were coming from. I wish I had more time with my mom too.
