Granny's gone and done it again

Ditto to you granny, you've had a rough day too. You are only human & accidents happen. I would have gave them water as well if it happened to my birds. Who knows what happened, just please forgive yourself. Your not an askhat, you are a very sensitive caring person that has too much on her plate like Camp. You are taking care of so many people when your health is not good. You can only do so much :hugs
I agree completely :goodpost:

1 polish chick has hatched under broody. I moved all of them to a cage. I heard at least 2 internal peeps. Charger spent 4 hours in the pasture. At dark he started hollering so loud I was afraid he would call up coyotes so I put him back in his pallet crate. He bit me twice on the thigh while I was locking the gate. Little turd. Got squash planted but not cukes.
Ouch, sorry the stinker bit you Jane.

I’m cleaning up Herkey. Ms. Natalie is gone, she also had injuries to her abdomen. I washed Herkey up and she’s looking like a cull. I don’t think I can fix her leg.

Herkey is the first chicken I ever touched. I pick her out of a brooder because she ran up and puffed her chest out at me. She’s an ask but I really liked her. I sat in the van last night with Ms. Natalie and was ready to take her home, then I convinced myself it would be fine in the tractor. :(

Ha if I win the lotto I’m paying off student loans and opening a animal rescue.

Alley, I am highly impressed with your mad math skills.
At least it was a easy one.
We were timed in school. Some stuff is life or death so we got less than 5 minutes to calculate and draw up what is needed. It was hell.
We had a case file (age, weight, breed, brief history) that we had to read then figure out what was wrong. We’d have like 10 medicine labels that we had to choose what to use from. Some stuff was off label and others had restrictions.
