Im learning from u all. Didn't know goats got coccidia. Gotta get something to kill white cabbage butterflies tomorrow. Permethrin or sevin dust.

I've never had great luck with Seven dust on my cabbage. Plus I hate the fact that the cabbage grows around the poison. I feel like it just traps it inside waiting for us humans to eat it. That's just me being paranoid about pesticides though, it a personal call on that Jane. I've used the Permethrin when I absolutely have to.

I’m cleaning up Herkey. Ms. Natalie is gone, she also had injuries to her abdomen. I washed Herkey up and she’s looking like a cull. I don’t think I can fix her leg.

Herkey is the first chicken I ever touched. I pick her out of a brooder because she ran up and puffed her chest out at me. She’s an ask but I really liked her. I sat in the van last night with Ms. Natalie and was ready to take her home, then I convinced myself it would be fine in the tractor.

Sorry camping. I have sure gotten attached to some of the chickens... more than I thought I would. It's very sad. They had a good life, so you can feel good about that.
This is turning out to be a long week.

So sorry Camp, life is just not fair sometimes. You just have too much coming at you right now. Wish we could be there to help hold you up. I know you are really struggling & want to crumple in a corner & sleep until it all goes away. Just know we are here to listen & to help you in any way possible. Not quite as good as if we were physically there, but none the less we are there in spirit. Find your quiet place & have a good cry. Crying is healing & I find that it is the easiest time to have that heart to heart with God. Sure hope that things get better hun

This is why we moved to toltrazuril. Albon takes a few days to work. Toltrazuril(baycox) works fast. Wonder if your vet has any of that. It is an off label use.
