I used to use the one we had in TN. It was a rear end tiller. Worked really well. Then the guy next door would disc it as well. Probably all weeds now. Lazy people bought the place.

Probably. We have had such terrible luck with tomatoes the last several years. Well, apparently it wasn't luck, it was me... watering too much. Professional farmer type guy told me over watering is the biggest problem people have. Told me water every 3 days while plants are growing, then once a week when they start setting fruit.
Once a week? I had been watering almost daily.

Of course that's advice for here where there is zero summer rain.

I just try to get stuff done daily. Ridiculously hot out there again, predicted 96. I went out , opened coops and watered stuff. I will do more stuff once it cools off. I am making a bag for my umbrella out of a dress i bought cheap at Goodwill. Haven't sewn anything in ages.

You need to get that trap out of there. It's going to bug you forever if you don't.

Crumble up some dried eggshell and sprinkle it around the maters too. Not too much. They like a little calcium.
