Maybe she is just too hot! Crazy hot here the last 2 days. Going to likely be in the 90s tomorrow again. Wish it would rain.

Happy mama’s day to all you mamas. And love to all my sisters out there who hey. We may not be moms (to humans) but we pull the crazy “aunt” card pretty nicely.

I’m feeling rather contemplative today. Hubs broke my heart today. He was saying “I wonder if I should text my mom for mother’s day. But she never texted me for my birthday”

Oh gosh. The hurt...his mom’s crazy and yeah we’re probably in a better place not having her in our lives but...just the hurt. This is a boy who was never treated right by his mom and still wants some love. It just broke my heart...and made me really think some not kind things towards the mil.

That's sad Star, I couldn't imagine not being close with my Mom. I'm hoping that as much as the little boy in him is still hurting, he may have to be the bigger person & contact her if he truly desires a relationship between them. Otherwise she may not contact him. If he contacts her & nothing comes of it, at least he knows he did all he could. Big hugs for your hubs & Happy Mother Cluckers day to you Star Oops missed the rocking the great aunt part!

Fortunately they are in the shade and there is a breeze. The bunnies in the barn have a fan. The freezer is crammed with food, i managed to get 2 bottles of water in there in case of emergency. We really need a chest freezer, but not really anywhere in the house to put it.

Maybe build a small shed for a chest freezer & a few other things non animal related. That's what hubs & I had when we first started out married. We lived in a single wide mobile home & there was a shed. We bought a small chest freezer & put it in the shed. It wasn't super convenient, buy hey we at least had the freezer space.
