Steamy and hot outside. I finished the divider and installed it. I made a feeder holder for Panther, since she enjoys throwing out feed. She decided to jump out of the cage when i was installing the divider. Luckily she didn't run away.

Oh, and i attached the wire to the door of the hutch i am building. So maybe tonight i can finish it.
Another CCL chick was not looking good this morning, so i held it in my hands while i did chores. Then i gave it a drink and put it in a bator. Then i installed a light to supplement heat because that ecoglow is not getting the job done. Very disappointed in it.

Is the echoglow the heater they stand under ? I never heard anyone say something bad about those. Is it under warrante ?

I bought it on sale at TSC and i can't find the danged receipt. It might work in the house but they are out in the brooder. It doesn't get below 60 at night so i think it should work. But i will likely bring it inside and use it there. I even put plywood under it for them to sit on instead of the wire. It does get warm, but evidently not warm enough.

seems like the plywood would do the job. 60 isnt that cold. I wonder if they would trade it for you ? It sure wouldnt hurt to call and ask.
