Trap or shootWell poo. Neighbor just rang the doorbell to tell me she saw a fox running up our driveway... all the hens were screaming so I know it came through to the back.Darn grey fox can climb like a cat, no fence too tall and it's hard to see them up a tree.
Seramas don't get to come out for awhile. They aren't going to be happy.
Way 2 go MollyMolly seems ok. Eating and drinking more. She’s due for day 2 meds.
Take care hope things get betterwell I need to go and get some stuff done before the horde desends. Will try for latter tonight.
I hope you all have a wonderful day
I know what you mean. Granny sure took the news hard. I think your news on top of Tom's results combined with her being sick was too much. She was feeling pretty bad last night.that was my though as well, BUT to be honest not sure I want to know if I lost her and 2 calves or not.
That's for sure! All 14 large layer hens are out in the yard though. Fox and hawks usually go after the bantams, but I'm still worried about the big girls. Their coop and run isn't big enough to keep them locked up all day.but better unhappy hens then the other option
That's good news!Molly seems ok. Eating and drinking more. She’s due for day 2 meds.
No shooting here... there'd be 20 calls to the sheriff!Trap or shoot
Yeah I’m going to do that once everyone has all the med on them and recovered.I know what you mean. Granny sure took the news hard. I think your news on top of Tom's results combined with her being sick was too much. She was feeling pretty bad last night.

Was wondering if you could readjust the pecking order (butting order?) and take the dominant goat our for a bit, keep her separate for awhile, and after Molly and Granger(?) get settled in, try introducing the single goat back in. Maybe she will behave herself.
You never did say how the goat was picking on Molly. Do they kick?
Yeah I’m going to do that once everyone has all the med on them and recovered.
She had her pinned in the corner against the fence and was ramming her with her head. Back up 5ft and ram. Molly didn’t move.
