It's so hard to know what the problem is sometimes. I think some are just not made to survive. Quantity over quality in the ground birds... not every one is going to be perfect.

I have a 6+ yr old hen who has quit eating. She's been hanging out away from the others during the day. I started feeding her separately, wet feed, and she's been gobbling it down. She hardly weighs anything, keel bone is bare of muscle, and her comb is starting to flop over. Now after a few days of special feeding, she has perked up quite a bit. Look what I've started... old age hen home.
