Got a good mix of colors, not sure if there are albinos in this group. I don't see spots on the heads like A and Ms, and i think this batch of eggs were all from the silver cage.

Yup I was mowing . Til I got stuck and started a fire under the mower. I disengaged the tranny and pushed and pulled and that thing wouldnt budge so I figured if I cant move the tractor I would move the fire . And I did.

Cap, I had a pretty productive day despite sitting on my duff . I put a saunders cubby thing together for Tom (6 holes) while I was cooking,then went out and fed and watered the chickens. Mowed for about an hr then set the yard on fire then took a shower and cut my toenails.

Sounds like a great day, except for the fire... I thought it just rained there.

When Hurricane/Tropical Storm Sandy hit New Jersey, we had friends who lost their home to the storm. Mom spent time answering phones for a local help organization while the kids sorted boxes for their shelter and read books to the younger children stranded there.
Mom also asked what was most needed by the volunteers, and was floored by the top answer ... Chapstick! It seems that. whether it's hot or cold, everything dries out the lips. Our Scout troop delivered a wagon load of children's clothes, books and games to her, and included three cases of Chapstick, at her request. Guess what was gone - distributed and pocketed - within minutes of opening the trailer!

I saw that post and thought about you and your chapstick. Bert's beeswax is much better, though!

Oh, the guys said the ELO concert was great. Audience was a bunch of us older folks... except for my 16 yr old who loves 70s rock. Poor kid. That's what happens when your parents are OLD.

There are also places that will tow you home free sometimes if you need it. I just drink at home, problem solved. What kind of car do you have?

2017 Chevy Malibu LT.. It's approaching 60 thou miles.. I drive a lot, I go to Tampa and Orlando a lot.. - plus, I like driving at night in the rain.. It's like a hobby or some kind of mania.. Sometimes I'm already in bed, it starts to rain, I get up, throw on a t shirt and shorts and go for a good drive..

Really cool article.. The statistics are not always very accurate.. As an insurance agent, I used to go to meetings and studies of diff accidents, not just from DUI or DWI..

For example.. 6 college kids driving on I-4 at a high rate of speed, they hit the cement at the bottom of an overpass, 5 of them were killed.. When the one survivor was able to give as much details as he could, it turned out 'the driver' a changing the CD.. Six of them, and the driver was changing the CD in the dashboard.. SMH..
